okay, so.

hello.

my name is melanie and this is my weblog. i am on the edge of twenty-five, single, and live in tampa bay (downtown st. petersburg to be precise). i am enamored of dinner parties and taking pictures and watching movies and reading and the theatre. i'm an indie girl to the core. most of the time, i write over here, where all the action is. say hello if you want to, or leave a message.

i heart:

HEY, TAXI! (Sunday, May 27, 2001)

the weblog is over here now.

bleach stings my eyes (friday 25 may)

indeed it does.

also, i'll be moving the pita to the new pita because the new pita name matches the diaryland name and i like symetry. so, also, i'll probably start using the kind of blue guestbook, too. wouldn't it be nice if we could merge two guestbooks? of course, i've always thought that it would be nice to be able to wiggle my nose and have my will be done (god complex? why no!).

and even though it was a rerun, i still heart will and grace more than any other teevee show except felicity and perhaps maybe even a little more.

"you put my name on that card or i'll kick your ass!"

(this is something that i would say. seriously. okay. staff meeting this morning. also, i'm going out for a big promotion which could mean 10k more a year for me and lots of major travel. woo!)

ah (still late, late on wednesday)

felicity was sogood.

i do love noel. and i realize that i sound moony, going on like this over a teevee show. but i cried over tracy proposing to elena. even though i love kel (he's kel to me, okay?). and i cried when felicity was listening to noel's tape.

damn it. i want to be felicity. except that i want to be me. okay, what i really want is to have a good group of friends with deep lives and good conversation and nice hands and good intentions (that live here).

didn't meade used to have a quote that said something about growth requiring the temporary suspension of security? yeah. that.
